Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

We honour human diversity in all its forms and respect the voices and perspectives of individuals from all intersections of society, including LGBTQ+, BIPOC and diversely-abled communities.  â€‹We acknowledge that we are privileged to live, work and play on the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy, the Stoney-Nakoda, and the Tsuut’ina Nation. Southern Alberta is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3. We are grateful to live here and honour the people who have cared for this land. We have respect and empathy for all people who experience trauma, discrimination, and generations of marginalization as a result of colonialism. As allies, we strive to be thoughtful and mindful when it comes to Human rights, and to advocate for vulnerable people in Canada.
