Clinical Supervision

Zahra provides Clinical Supervision for Provisional Psychologists looking to register with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP). 


Her extensive experience in clinical supervision helps provisional psychologists reach their personal and professional goals through a flexible and collaborative approach. 


Zahra draws from a number of different philosophies and therapeutic approaches allowing Provisional Psychologists to develop their personal style while meeting high ethical standards, best practices, and evidence-based treatments.


Zahra completed a Certificate in Advanced Clinical Supervision in Psychology in 2018, 

and has been a Clinical Supervisor in three programs for dozens of therapists. 


Provisional psychologists will receive supervision related to:

Obstacles to change, alliance ruptures and repair, and interventions and approaches

Specialized areas including assessment and treatment of:

  • Interpersonal Violence

  • Substance Use

  • Behavioural-Related Concerns

  • Mental Health Concerns

  • Capacity to Make Decisions in the 8 Domains

  • Acculturation Difficulties

  • Crisis/Risk Management

  • Suicide Interventions

Exploration of personal biases and areas of particular strength 

In-person observation and feedback 

Ethical decision making 

EPPP topics, study strategies, exam-writing strategies, and setting up of study routines

Private Practice start-up and considerations

LEAP prep and discussion
